I like the fact that you're trying so hard to learn the english language.

I'd say there are no good reasons

But I just wanted to put in my two cents and say that hate itself isn't bad. It's what is done with hate that can be bad.

the worset reason for hate would be... the hate you get when you blow your friend into 1000000's of tiny peices on halo and get a slap for it

I'd say it's a toss-up between the first two. The others are fucked up reasons to hate someone too, but no one even gets any say in what their race or country of origin is.

'Other'

Namely, when someone's political opinions start infringing on my personal rights (stay the hell away from my BC pills you bastards), or personal reasons (stay the hell away from the boyfriend I don't currently have, you bastards).

But then, I don't do horrible things with my hate. I just keep it to myself and seethe. Mmmm, seethage.

I don't hate. I lose patience with people-and that can be pretty damn difficult as it is-but I do not hate.

I said there is no good reason for hate. Let me clarify: there is no good reason for hatred towards a person or several persons. because hate implys that whomever you are directing your vehement dislike to is of an equal or greater intelligence. I feel that hatred causes stupidity and vice versa. I feel that stupidity is what causes war and evil. If someone is a person of intelligence, he might dislike very much or abhor a person but he should not hate that person. He may detest the company of a person and avoid that person but he should not hate that person.

People are bred to hate and I don't like this fact. I detest this fact. I also believe I can change this fact by teaching my children, when I have some, not to hate anyone.

Oh. I'm talking about different ones. Unfortunately, I don't think I still have any of them. But one of them (they're all done in MSpaint) has a stroller rolling down a hill toward some spikes, and this woman screaming "My baby!" and some guy standing there saying, "LOL, Internet!" Good stuff. Galliam and I got a 2 day forum ban a while back for making about 40 posts in the "LOL, *whatever*!" format. :D

Sorry, I meant that whomever you might hate is probably not of an intelligence equal to yours. I find that if I strongly dislike a person, it is because he cannot comprehend reason and is therefore not as intelligent as me. He, on the other hand will often hate me because he lacks the mental capacity needed to realize that I have a view point which I have researched and can back up.

I say this, speaking only of the people who do not research their opinions and do not wish to be flamed. I respect other people's opinions and ask only that they be able to back these opinions up with some reason. If a person cannot do this, he is not worthy of anything more than great dislike. And if a person is worthy of hate, he is also worthy of my respect, which automatically negates my hatred of him, transferring the hatred into the "dislike" department instead.

Hate based on something someone can't control is the most idiotic. Gender, preference, sex, race, physical features, background, luck, origin, etc.

Hate based on philosophy/beliefs that aren't acted upon meaningfully is wasteful.

Hate based on philosophy/beliefs that ARE acted upon meaningfully can be logical, but is still usually wasteful.

The only time hate is truly useful is when it inspires you to action against someone who is objectively harmful, like someone who breaks in to your house trying to kill your kids, and even then, it should just be an extension of the protective urges.

Yeah... they say we should just go to the normal Jolt spam forum but... it's all... scary and stuff... full of crazy, non-NS people.

Edit: There's no reason to pah... unless you somehow missed it, I'm a Myrth-fan-girl, so that mention was all in jest, and I honestly like most of the other mods I've seen around also.

I hate people who abuse animals and those who are weaker than them. Say what you will, but these individuals (can't bring myself to call 'em people) make this world a messed up place. I suppose in a sense, we have to have the bad to make the good mean something, but I still hate 'em.

I don't tend to hate. Not because I think there is anything inherently wrong in hating someone/something, but because I see it as a waste of energy.

As far as I am concerned, paedophiles should be wiped off the face of the planet and I would readily take the job if it was required but I don't think I would say I hate them as such. I see them as something that needs to be eradicated, sort of like a bacterial infection (which I would also kill but do not hate) that needs to be excised as efficiently as possible.

If anyone ever hurt my kids, I would hate them, I suppose. But only until I found them, after which I would be very busy for a while and then I would have to refer to the body disposal thread...
