This is more of a compliment than an insult, I noticed a post in a thread. In seemed very enlightened, I wasnt thinking who posted it, than I read who did post it, the person was, My gun not yours, I know from previous threads that he is a Bush supporter, and in threads that bash Bush he usually says stupid incorrect things. But in the thread I am talking about, he sounded very smart and informed, basically my point is, if they are not talking about American politics, they are ok.
There's nothing wrong with Bush supporters. Most I know are intelligent, rational thinkers.

Hmm.. it would assume that you are implying that it was funny that a Bush supporter actually said something intelligent? Hmmmm??? :D .. j/k they're okay...
My Gun Not Yours is a libertarian, if I remember correctly.
But this thread brings to mind the phrase "backhanded compliment".
Not very nice...

Dont think so, he is always defending Bush and blasting Democrats.
Anyway, yeah there not so bad its just when they talk about politics, it seems like they have froth coming out of there mouths.
Plus in two pictures in the newspapers I saw before the election, it showed a Bush and a Kerry supporter arguing. The guy who was screeming and chocking the other guy was a Bush supporter the guy who was trying to act civilized was the Kerry supporter, BOTH TIMES! This isnt to say that this is always the case, but I do find it funny.

I've seen him stick up for homosexuality and he is for drug legalization too I believe. I think he's more a libertarian.

There's nuts on both sides. Just as the Republicans don't like to admit they draw some support from the neo-Nazi groups in America, the Democrats don't like to admit they draw some support from terrorist sympathizers. Neither should be identified with the mainstream.

Well, I saw a nasty argument going on at my college, the day before the third debate was held (yup, I'm at ASU), and the Kerry supporter was ranting and spitting, and the Bush guy was speaking in a calm voice.
Just being the devils advocate for a bit, I've tired of the endless partisan hackery.
