I Am Quite Possibly The Most Conservitive Guy On This Board

I'm not saying this because I worship Bush or anything, because “conservative” does not necessarily go hand-and-hand with Republicanism. Any such statement contradicting that previous statement is bred purely through ignorance. I am saying this because I have yet to fully adapt to the state that the General Forum is currently in. I am more use to the General Forum of 1 year ago. NEE's House and Word Games still burn in this brain I have. This board is quite conservative if compared to most other General forums. Yet, it has, to me, become quite liberal in this short time span. So, what I'm getting at is, conservatism and liberalism's meanings are relative and interchangeable.
So think next time you call this forum “liberal”.

Whoh, did we just go from "Foxx is a conservative" to "Who does Gun fuck?"

Well, someone asked if Foxx was a guy or not. Not really pertinent either.

Psh. Whenever someone complains it's too liberal, he or she usually is an American being confronted with views from abroad.

So you're conservative because you're not used to a more conservative board?

What are you on?
And can I have some?
=)
No, I'm pretty damn conservative myself, so you might have some competition.
Oh hush. "I am possibly the most (insert irrelevant descriptor here and hope people will start arguing that you aren't that descriptor) on this board!"
Good for you. Did it need a thread?

Kinda. He's conservative because she isn't comfortable adapting to changes. The board was more conservative at one point, but it's changed and he hasn't, so her personality is conservative, whether or not his politics are.

It's not a shift in the politics of the board, it's that the board has gotten alot more political as a whole, both liberal and conservative. Yes, the political debate has trended towards conservativism in the past few months, but if I'm understanding Foxx correctly he's complaining that the board has gotten more political, and he's having trouble accepting that change; hence he is conservative in that he wants to keep the board as it once was. Foxx, and I, and numerous other people, can remember a time last year and earlier when General was a lot more lighthearted and carefree and a lot less arguments about politics. NEE's House, Word Games, Volcano club, these were all mainstays of the older, gentler General that have fallen away for whatever reason. I believe I'm understanding Foxx correctly in this; he's not whining that the forum has gotten more conservative in its political discussions, he's whining that it has gotten to political as a whole.
