people have talked about Eurasia and such but wouldnt a combonation of America and Europe be so much better? I for one think it would be perfect! Just think people like Bush wouldnt be elected, and each nation would contribute to each other! It would be so perfect! I havent posted too much because I want you to name the positives that would happen (plus I have a dentist appointment) Please focus on the positives, not the negatives.

If Muslims unite worldwide, and the terrorism gets worse, I can certainly see it. The Chinese, who at this moment are slaughtering Muslims in their western provinces, would probably want to be in, too.

Enlightment is forward-looking self-interest.
Pandering to islamic sensitivities is not enlightment, it is appeasement.
If America were sensible, it would also do the right thing and demand that muslims start behaving like everyone else ( i.e. no funny clothes ) or bugger off to Mecca.
If America were sensible, it would not be pandering to Sadr or the likes if him, it would just kill those guys while it had the opportunity.

Perhaps I've missed something, but isn't "Eurasia" more of a geographic entity than a political one? I mean, isn't calling that landmass Eurasia supposed to be based on the fact that the continents of Europe and Asia are kind of linked by the Ural Mountains, not by a common culture, language, or political ideology?

I think it's more likely we'll see the United States themselves Balkanize rather than see any intercontinental amalgamations.

Why dont they? I live right outside Philly, I see Muslims with all the head dresses walking around all the time, whethere they are tourists or they are citizens they dont blow up builidings, and discriminating against their religion is not going to stop Muslim terrorism. I got news to people NOT ALL MUSLIMS ARE TERRORISTS!!!
