That's right! I can use alliteration! 'Mwahahaha'!

Anyway, people come and share what you think/know you're getting/have got for Christmas, and what you're getting for other people.

I'm getting:
Various My Little Pony goodies (which I had to gather myself, since they all look the same to my mum  )
Spiffy new mp3 player
Some mysterious... box... of something (doesn't rattle, I thought it was a book, but the edges are too smooth to be pages)
Some sort of dvd/gamecube game

Have already been given:
A book on Talking Heads (yay)
3 seksay female-pirate dolls

Are giving:
two custom ponies to two different friends
my handmade Lovecraftian book to a third friend
chocolates to various other friends
a big bunch of origami flowers to my mum
....something... for my dad (he's always the hardest to think of gifts for...)
catnip-seasoned chicken for our two cats

Have given:
a dress to a friend (same friend who got me the pirate dolls)

So come on people, get into the spirit of things, and share what you've bought/made for the people who you pretend are your loved ones! Or at least complain about how much you hate holiday shopping/Christmas music/humanity.

I really don't remember what I asked for... or heck, for that matter, what I'm giving since I have yet to start my shopping.

You wouldn't be so cynical if someone had given you a Lexus for Christmas.

I disagree. You'll have to either prove it or admit defeat... and the only way to prove it is to give away a Lexus.

Have fun :D

I don't even think about Christmas until December. Then I don't think about it very much, until around… well, I'm not thinking much about it yet.

Damn crass consumerism into the fiery pit of lost souls! Argh!

Since when do I have to prove anything? We're talking postulates, not facts. And postulates are adhered to by faith, which cannot be argued.

Sigh... it's 3:17am here... you should just pat me and agree politely.

And then snicker once I cease paying attention.

I specifically ask for nothing. Don't see why people should feel obligated to get me anything.

My GF keeps asking what I want

And I keep asking for a lump of coal (lol she said that is what she was going to give me as a threat … now I wont say I want anything but) it is great :)

Well, there are a lot of things I do for (or to) people, and they never asked for it. Sometimes people do things because it feels good.

I'll have to second this... I like making people happy. Well, I like making happy those who fit into the small group of people I don't despise, at any rate.

I'm sure it's some sort of crazy character flaw that will ultimately be linked to my downfall. But hey, at least it's a flaw that makes people happy...

I like to get things for friends, but I don't tend to do it on Christmas. If I'm out and I see something I know someone will like, I'll get it then. I'm not going to go out and buy things at jacked up prices simply because a date on the calendar tells me to.

Pffft... that's why I don't buy most of the gifts I give. But ah well... I think I just lost more respect. Go me and all that...

Le sigh.

Join the club!!! There's no point in even thinking about until then. But anyway the great thing about college is that you're wrapped up in your own little self-centred world that some things just bypass you!!!=

Well, Myrth, whether you like it or not, I'm giving you a Christmas present: I promise to not post ANYthing all day on Christmas! How's that? Kewl, eh? :D

Personally, I've always liked the idea of trout.
