What countries would that be?

I chose Nigeria because it's in Africa, where I grew up. I think my partner would like Africa too. Although Nigeria does have its problems... Ah well, we can find a nice quiet spot to doctor and teach.

The Turkish government frightens me, as does Burma (Myanmar).
I don't know enough about Kazakhstan and Ukraine is cold and sucky.

I didn't vote, but I have one for you:
Would you rather
A) Eat a glass sandwich?
B) Catch Gonnorreah from an overwieght French prostitue with B.O.?
C) Have a large breed of dog break wind directly in your face?

Answer honestly please.

C) Have a large breed of dog break wind directly in your face?
The unpleasantness is relatively short-lived in this one... I don't fancy STIs or having my mouth ripped to shreds.

C. Because it has happened many times already

I chose Burma, because it woul dbe the closest one for my plans to disappear to a small island stronghold in the South China Sea with a dozen or so bond-girl type babes as bodyguards. Possibly a midget butler.

I choose Burma. Of the countries you listed, I think it's the one likely to have the most mud. *nod*

Ukraine. It would be rather easy to move from there to a sane country.

Answer honestly please.B) As long as there's penicillin around for afterwards and beer around for before.

Wouldn't be the first time I had the clap. It treats pretty easily.

That one's easier to answer than the country question, choosing between which flavor of turmoil/oppression you want to live under.

The Ukraine is becoming a modern, western style nation. And to live in a place where freedom is blooming like it is there, well, that would be plain exciting. And on top of that, it's people have what is clearly a strong protest ethic.

Beyond the government, the nation is rich in history, and I'd enjoy just visiting all of the historic sites all around the nation.

It was a tough choice between Ukraine and Turkey. Then I remembered that Turkey would be too hot for me to live in. Nice for a holiday, but not all the time.

Nigeria... Muslim terrorists vs. Christian terrorists, corrupt government

Burma/Myanmar... military dictatorship, slave labour

Kazakhstan... ??? Too poor, too corrupt and too Muslim/authoritarian. I think.

I choose the Ukraine, because I could probably find some relatives there, and I wouldn't stick out too much. (I'm half white...but maybe I could pass as tanned?) Also, despite the Ukraine's public problems right now, and its poverty, it's still better off in terms of freedom and economics than the other choices. I'm certainly glad I don't really have to make this decision!

Although to be quite honest..Turkey wouldn't really be that bad either.

Ukraine, because I go there almost every summer, used to live there, have several groups of relatives with which I could board, was born there, because it culturaly is nicer than the US, have friends there, because they actually have soccer there (soccer p4wns), and finally because they actually have winter there.
