Who wants to wear orange?

I am considering wearing orange in support of the the "orange revolution" in the Ukraine. Before I move to such a move (i.e. buying an orange hat or shirt or something), is it worth my effort to do this? The main problem to me seems to be the fact that most American's can't point out the Ukraine on a map, let alone understand that they have elections.

Is it worth it, even though no one (or, more properly, very very few people) will get my statement?

Get an orange ribbon. Ribbons solve everything, apparently.....and somebody might ask you what the ribbon is for....maybe.....

Being 1/4 Ukrainian, I am interested in taking part in this. If you could provide me with a link to a reputable news source(CBS, UPN, CNN, NY Times, USA Today, Reuters, AP) that has info about this, then I will.

Will it make a real difference? Probably not.

But that doesn't give us the right to act as thogh it doesn't matter.

I myself have been wearing orange for about a week now.

I'd say this type of idea would be more effective, as people will ask you what the ribbon is for.

Where would one wear this ribbon? I'm not up-to-date on political symbolism...

in Ukraine orange means you're a dupe of the CIA and the US instead of a dupe of Russia. or it means you're from western Ukraine not the east. always be suspicious of any revolution the US and the American media are in love with, there is probably more there than meets the eye.

I'd wear it either around your wrist which corresponds to what hand you write with or on a book bag if you carry one frequently; another place you might put it is on a collar of a dark shirt/suit. It's a subtlety, not something you're "flaunting," per se.

Thank you much for your creative input, I have since found a nice, orange ribbon and shall wear it somewhere, maybe on my jacket, or backpack or something.

orange spray paint can be fun as well if properly applied to appropriate surfaces.

I'll wear my orange FK Shakhtar jersey! For the non-Ukrainians, Shakhtar the main soccer team in Donetsk, which is deep anti-orange country.

Link to show the uniform- http://shakhtar.com/

And by the way, Donetsk p4wns Ukraine. First place FK Shakhtar Donetsk, third place FK Metallurg Donetsk (I have game worn jerseys from both.)

And yes, I do support East Ukraine.

I'd personally love to wear orange. Not an orange shirt, mind you, but maybe like a little orange ribbon on my backpack. It's a nice little way to show solidarity, especially since I live very far away from Ukraine.

It all started due to messed up exit polls, by which logic there should be a Blue Revolution going on in the US.
