Komokom has it right. Adspamming any link to an online game where you get bonuses by people clicking your link are not welcome in the Nationstates forums. We first had this problem with a game called Outwar awhile ago. You can talk about Neopets all you like, but those kinds of links are a no-no.

Actually most of the active people are in their late teens. The game was created for college students, not kids, after all.

The content is monitored very closely, by the way. If anyone makes "dating" boards, the board is usually deleted within 5 to 10 minutes.

There are places you can go, like the space station, but I have no idea where you are getting the "adventures" deal from, and I've been on the site for a little over three years.

Neopets does not force anybody to sign up for anything. You can sign up for stuff if you want, but the prize is never any better than a few np. oO On a very rare occasion (twice while I've been there), they have given something good away for signing up with a sponsor.

Face it, this is neopets-propaganda! They TELL you, you'll get 500np if you sign up for their 5 offers. Then another week you'll get 300 for another 3...and so on. And they're getting a couple cents for each and every offer you sign up for. The money grows and grows as your forced and forced.

You feel like you have a choice. But you don't. You really don't.

I have signed up with ONE sponsor the entire time I have played there. Most of my friends would say the same. Unless you are extremely new to the site then the sponsor stuff is not even a temptation. 500 np is nothing, and almost everyone on Neopets know that. I'm not seeing anyone being forced to do anything.

What spamming? They mention the sponsor ads Colodia is making a direct reference to in all of three places. All three are out of the way, by the way.
