good, and even though people say it started many wars, religion was usually blamed for something like national recourses or more territory

Organized religion is "bad" I would say, because it obstructs free thinking.

Tis bad, pleck, no. I agree with whatsisface up there, it obstructs free thinking. Brainwashing=religion=bad, Free thinking=absence of religion=good.

Personally I think religion is like a tool
Can be used for good or bad things ... it is the people that drive which it goes too.
That leads to the fact that should organized religion be as ambiguous as it is (most of the religious texts are so) it allows too much leeway for people do abuse them
(though besides the things it does) religion I feel while useful in its infancy to organize people and to lift them and get them moving in the right direction ... really has outlived its usefulness. a lot of the things in the texts would defiantly help at the time but really become more and more debunked. Not all … a lot of it is a general moral overtone and I can see how that can be helpful

Though organized religion seems antiquated and shrouded in meaningless and sometimes hypocritical nonsense traditions.
Overall outlived its usefulness
