I propose a game of tag.
To all those who will complain that this is just spam, I say this, the reason we're here at Jolt is because of bandwidth problems on the original Nationstates server. The only reason that word games and chat/rp threads were outlawed on the old server was because of the limitted bandwidth. With that limitation gone there is no reason to maintain the strictness of the anti-spam regulations.
Game off temporarily
The game will be restarted when a comprehensive set of rules has been created.
The rules so far
* Only players who express an interest in playing can be tagged.
* Players must include:
I am a member of the Nationstates tag team.

in their signature
* Tagging will take place when the player who is "it" quotes another player and declares "Tag! You're it!" immediately following which the new "it" may tag any other player
* No player may tag the player who tagged them (no tagbacks)
* Whenever a player tags another s/he must post a message in this thread identifying the new "it"
* For now there will only be one "it" if later we wish to expand the game to have more than one "it" players will be required to record the entire chain of "it"s that led to their being tagged in their update post
If anyone has any questions or suggestions, please post them here. I will continue to update the rules as we go along, and when everyone is satisfied we will start.
To change your signature, and to enable the viewing of other player's signatures, go to the "profile" tab at the top left of the forum window. Then go to "Edit signature" and add the required lines wherever you like. If your signature is really long, or contains many pictures, be curteous and add the tag identifier at the bottom. Then to enable viewing signatures, go to "Edit Options" and click the "Show Signatures" toggle part way down the page. After that you're all set to play.
