mIRC help!

I need help! I downloaded mIRC and I get connected and everything, but when I type in the channel (#nationstates) it shows me as being the only one on there??? I'm confused PLEASE HELP ME!
EDIT: NEVER MIND! I FIGURED OUT MY PROBLEM!

Lol. I had quite a simple problem. I forgot to change the server :( Then I got smart and went back and read the directions :)
