In a semi-unrelated subject, Clothing is more and more commonly being made with stain resistance. It's wonderful. All the mud stains wash out now, leaving my bright colors as bright as ever! :D

Which is why I laugh at that dumbass commercial where the kid drops the blob of jelly on his sneaker and freaks out. Buys a new pais of sneakers.
I laugh and weep for the weakness of urban youth everywhere.
Within a matter of weeks, my sneakers always end up the same; like they've been through a threshing machine in a sewer. You can tell a lot about a person by their footwear.
