Just a little poll to see how many Spider fans we have.

Only 2 of us? Don't people read the really great SF any more?

Apparently not, although a good place to start would be here http://www.baen.com/library . Plenty of great stuff, albeit many not on the level of Spidey.

This is really depressing. I figured that several of the younger folks on here would not know about Callahan's but how do you live to be over 30 and not know? Oh well.

I've read most of his Callahan stories--funny, light-hearted stuff.

Well, I had thought of doing a thread every Punday (Tuesday for the unread masses) with a different topic each week. Guess I can cross that off my To-Do list. :(

I've been a regular at Callahan's since 1982. I fell into a recursive wormhole in the storeroom, and never looked back.

<Groan> but I like it. One of my favorites is “It’s a hickory daiquiri doc”.
