Capitalization Ruins Christ's Message

I've seen alot of posters who are advocating for Christianity and often type in all capital letters. I personally feel that this ruins the whole peace and love and personal improvement thing the Christ was really all about. I just find it odd to see things like this posted:

CHRIST THE SAVIOR OF TEH WORLD WILL COME AND YOU WILL ALL GO TO HELL SINNERS!!!!111!

What do y'all think?

I really don't know. It is real confusing. I mean, I grew up learning bible values.... and I remember as a kid it was all about peace, tolerance, turning the other cheek etc. etc. and if you DIDN'T do that you were bad.

Now I'm a religious person but would definitely not call myself exclusively Christian. But I still hold those values preached by Jesus to be Truth with a capital T (but small ruth...)

While a lot of self-declared "christians" seem to demonstrate no christian values. They do demonstrate a good number of Old Testament bigotry, but the Old Testament definitely ain't Jesus.

Why? I don't know.. it's like here in NZ the right-wing church is after the homos with a vengeance because the bible says it's wrong. However, the bible only mentions homosexuality 6 times. There are many more references to the evils of gambling. Yet they hold their meetings in casinos.

Weird. There is something else going on other than Christianity I think.

I agree. I am not Christian but have read the bible objectively. As such I think a lot of people who call themselves Christian have either never read the thing or worse yet, have read it looking (perhaps unconciously) for ways to back up their own beliefs and give support to their ideas (therefore reading it very selectively) rather than reading it as an attempt to follow its teachings.

Christ had a message?
Yes, but Peter couldn't be arsed getting a pencil a paper to write it down, so he never got it.
