Definately Ringo. I heard in an interview that he used to get into streetfights as a kid and hid razorblades in his lapels in case someone grabbed them. Ya gotta respect that.

I feel that Paul was better with melodies, while Lennon was better with songwriting. I hate to say it, but I'm going with Paul. I would go with Lennon if it weren't for Revolution 9.

Are you sure? Maybe I'm confused. I heard the interview over ten years ago.

Ringo was a cool nickname but Billy Preston (the famous considered the fifth beatle) winds my vote, McCartney is awesome also though

Well John was dead since 1980, the was part, Im pretty sure I have been re-encarnated in Johns body. No, I wish I had been, but somebody has, or will be, maybe it will be my kid. (Better not move to New Zealand and abandon my kid like the original Johns dad, than I can get some of the cash.)

How could you say no to the beautiful song whos lyrics rickicheyed through the hearts of Americans and Europeans alike, I hear them right now "number 9, number 9, number 9."

Yeah that was a dumb choice, you have bought down the level of intelligence of everyone in this thread and he will be awarded no points.

Ringo. He just didn't care about anything much. After him, Stu Sutcliff.

George; the only one to do good stuff after the beatles - that includes Imagine which in my opinion is totaly overrated.

'All things must past' rocks! - except the new 2000 stuff on the newer versions.

Ringo wasn't Thomas the Tank Engine. He was the narrator. Mmm, splitting hairs. Gotta love it.

We can't answer this question until we see who's the last left standing. After all, remember the Beatle code: "There can be only one."

Best at what? All four of them were terrific musicians and songwriters--John and Paul were a bit more prolific than George and Ringo, but all four were outstanding. Honestly, I think that together they were greater than the sum of their individual parts. As the Beatles, they had an energy that none of them could duplicate with later bands.

Definitely Harrison. While he wasn't as cool or crazy as John or Paul, George actually had a steady head on his shoulders, and seemed more about the music.

He was my favourite too. He wrote so many of their best songs, but Paul and John had quantity, and John's dead so most people automatically pick him.

George had the most talent, easily.
