Pimping a new band

Fairly

I'm not sure if this is allowed here, but there's a new band coming out the beginning of the new year. Their name is Eisley and they're really quite cool. It's a younger group of people, but they write their own stuff and are trying to pimp some of their songs. Below are links to their songs they want people to hear for free, a music video of theirs, their website, and a way to find out more about them and spread the word to people that they're cool and such. :) Enjoy!

-If this does break any rules, feel free to delete it, mods. :)

I'm having a listen right now. They're pretty good.

BTW, you might want to link to short samples rather than the whole songs. Couldn't people just right click and do "save target as", rather than buying the music?

Chinafight. They will be big one day. They are my uni's biggest band and pack out places already.

They don't have samples of their songs up to listen to, but I posted the 56k files so it would be quicker to listen. On their website, they have some mp3s, so you can go that route as well. :)

Eisleys been out for some time now. I find it amazing how the lead singer is so young. It's really shocking.

Yep, they've been out for awhile but they're signed for an entire album now. They are shockingly young and very creative. They write their music, the lyrics, and even do their own cover art! w00t! That's called a real artist!!

They do sound a bit like Keane!

Second Dilemma is neat. :) They have lots of potential.

Zeo Doxa... Another new one. http://www.mountaindewfloatfest.com/bands04.htm Scroll down until you find them. There's several songs there. Too bad that the file format is *ram.

And, let's bump this up because everyone deserves wonderful music. ;)

Razorlight are good, especially "Golden Touch". I also recommend the Zutons, as they are absolutely brilliant.

Remember, when you bump the thread, make it interesting.

I will have to find Razorlight. I found this band through Eisley called The Arcade Fire. One of the girls in the band likes them. They're pretty cool, though I've only heard a song. They are rock. Possibly hard.

The Innocence Mission is another that I am checking out. They're kind of soft. At least they are in "Bright as Yellow." Different. They sound like Eisley, which is how I found them because they sound like them.

Do you come from America? They're a british band, so they might not be as available over there.

Hey, no need to be sorry! It was my own stupid fault for downloading the windows security updates. For some reason, if I download the updates for XP it completely buggers up my internet access. COMPLETELY.
Since I don't know how to actually uninstall the updates, I had to reformat my computer. I bet there's some really easy way of getting rid of them that I didn't know...
