I've met people off online forums before in person...it's always an eye opener, and kind of a shocker to actually see people you originally only knew online.

I think it would be fun, provided it's in California somewhere...XD

I don't think it would be a good idea. I mean, one massive riot would break out. Factions would form, Conservatives and Liberals would battle. Communists, Capitolists and Socialists would be at eachothers' throats. Northerners and Southerners would reinact the Civil War with real weapons.

I'll come...only if it takes place in a colloseum-type setting, with me being the ticket master. ;)

If it was near enough that I could go without any particular inconvenience, yeah I'd go. If I had to go like across the continent for it though, forget it.

I'd go, depending on the location. It would be interesting to see how everyone interacted with eachother once they found out who was who. Since everyone basically just has to go by their actions on the forum, only a few have pictures up.

No - While I've met many people I previously only knew online (I chat over at Illusionary Minds Chat and am good friends with many of the chatters there now), I've never met anyone on these forums that I'd want to bother meeting face to face. Maybe it's just that these forums are of a much lower level of interactivity, or maybe it's that I've yet to meet someone I like enough to want to hang out with.

Maybe - but only if for the duration first day everyone received a coded name badge and were asked not to tell their user name, and there were a contest to see who could guess the NS identity of the most people. And still manage to not strangle some of them. Somehow.

That is a great idea. I would go if that happened. Also, there would have to be a lot of booze to make the situation better.

Nearly all the people i telegram on nationstates i know personally anyway, so it would be pointless, and i wouldn't go.
