Well, I'll be the one screaming like a maniac and generally being a menace to the rest of the skiiers. Maybe I can just drop in on you at the lodge.

Who knows? I rarely turn down a window of opportunity.

I'd continue this, but I see it getting VERY tired in roughly 1 post

Anyway, why just ski when you can do both? Or, even better, try my trick of skiing off small drops into snow drifts. That kinda hurts

Ski. I could never get the feel of snowboards. I hated feeling like one of those plastic Army Men.

Snowblades for gods sake, the other two suck :p :D

Snowboarding = spending most of you time on your arse or knees and carrying the damn things along flat terrain. :(

Skiing = Too much stuff to carry (poles, skis etc) and once you have fallen over say good bye to your knee ligaments. :(

Snowblades = not much to carry, don't have to take em off on flats and you don't spend time on your arse and knees when you stop. :D

Only if you don't know how
sorry tink but i'm a boarder

I've never tried them, but it looks like they get horrible ankle support, which is cruical for me since i'm a long distance runner who has crappy ankles

You still have to carry em on flats tho...besides i was being more than a little sarcastic :p :D I'm lucky enough to have tried all three, love skis because of the speed and the carving, love snowboards because they are the best in powder (IMHO), but i have had snowblades since they came out and wouldn't go back to either skis or boards. They so much fun, esp going down moguls, through tree pistes and down icy pistes where the grip they have is quality.

You get the same ankle support you do in skis, i mean i tore the ligaments in my right and knee and i have no problems with them!

Neither, I make snowmen, and snow angels, and go tobogganing.... :D

Not that this has actually happened yet, we don't get snow where I live, we get grey slush. :(
