Bad news: My little brother won't be joining my parents when they come to visit next year
Good news: His wife is finally preggers after 6 years of trying (due in June)
Bad news: Mom and Dad were planning to visit then
Good news: I'm excellent "weird, kooky, fun uncle" material :D (the ex-GF's 3 year old niece can attest to that! :D)

Good news: After tomorrow, I'm on break
Bad news: Tomorrow's a giant, knee-breaker exam
Good news: High hopes for my next go around in the proposal list for my proposal
Bad news: I have to work hard to do it :(
