Now that I have your attention, I would like to pose a question: Why would you read this thread?

The title is obviously either (A) Flame (B) Flame bait (C) Trolling. Based on the title you can not honestly say that you expected a well written and intellectual thread. The only thing you could expect is moronic insults or obvious stupidity. It could be that I have a reputation for intelligence that would imply that even a thread titled like this is smartly written, but I think we all know that the odds of that happening are less than me suddenly cutting out Burger King.

Why read this thread? Did you expect the responces to be intelligent? Did you expect an insightful or humorous commentary on social issues? Did you expect anything besides idiocy of an extreme level? Just tell me why.

With a title like that how could I NOT check it out. Besides, it's new and not very long.

Kind of like an accident. Most people will slow down to look at the carnage.

Because when I encounter someone acting in a manner that is unintelligent or juvenile, I don't attempt to avoid it, I try and help correct it. Especially if someone is doing so in an overtly hostile manner. It's part of my duty as a human being to try and help that person, not to just ignore them and write them off.

<Besides, when I hold my mouse over the title of a thread, it displays the first post next to it. Is that cheating? :p)

i just looked at the thread because it might be good for a laugh. :D

I hovered the mouse over the thread, and got the first few lines, and upon seeing that this thread wasn't something about how we all suck, I came in to see what it was about.

The reason I hovered the mouse? That sort of title doesn't exactly fit you Klonor, and unless a younger sibling got ahold of your nation (or you got some liquor) then it seemed immensely out of character, and I was curious.

Because it was the most interesting thing on the "Latest Threads" thing...

I thought Klonor had finally got mad at us making fun of her. I came in to see his sanity die once and for all.

I usually check the name of the poster and it seemed out of character so I came in to see what you were trying to do. It did seem like a psychological experiement.

much like the others i was like wtf? why do we all suck but then i saw that it was not about that. I decided to keep reading and now it was worth a nice laugh and a fun thread. Way to catch some attention.

Actually, I came here by accident. Iwas going to write a thread about a friend of mine getting stun gunned to the groin and I accidentally clicked this thread instead.

Pretty accurate except for the 'Hey look! I got a tazer!' Most of us have stun guns now(We've been playing stun gun tag for weeks) and we are pretty much on our guard. That's why we usually resort to sneak attacks.

Unofrtunately, I was never a Boy Scout ... but I did learn the importance of not standing up. I don't think that would help with a tazer attack, though.

Because everybody complains about the Trolls, who post with the intent of starting a Flame war, but I've noticed that everybody always reads and responds to those threads anyway. I was just curious as to why

I was just bored cause there weren't many new posts being made in NS.

So, people either read it because they did expect idiocy and wanted to laugh at/correct it or they really did expect an intelligent post? Wow.

I wanted to know what would piss someone off so much that they'd address that kind of title to the rest of an entire forum, and it looked more interesting than the rest the boring overdone discussions on this page. Heck, I'm even bored with the first of my own threads to be popular, seeing as how it's devolved into an abortion debate. At least we haven't seen too many generic anger threads lately, they're usually directed as something specific.

Plus, it gave an opportunity for me to either give advice, or say "hey, I didn't do anything, neither did 85% of the forum"... or if you were complaining about the lack of good threads, heartily back you up.

That was my reasoning before I rolled over. Then I just wanted to read the rest of the post and see your argument for why we shouldn't have wanted to read it.
