I haven't seen Alexander yet but I saw Troy and quite enjoyed it. I've heard only bad things about Alexander though, not only from people on NS but from people I've talked to in person. Given both of these stories are based on Ancient Civlizations and battles, I'd like to see which one people liked more.

I thought Troy was a little too hollwoodized, and they made my favorite character Aeneas a scrawny little teenager while the cowardly idiot paris was portrayed as a romantic hero. However it did have some cool javelin action, so it probably beats Alexander because everyone says it sucks.

Alexander was such an awkward movie to watch. It gave me sick goosbumps. The first fight scene was REALLY good though.

Troy, no contest, nobody liked Alexander, it was a pathetic attempt, my question is how could you take an exciting topic like Alaxander the Great, and make a bad movie out of it?

Probably because Alexander the Great isn't so interesting. :)

However, Gladiator owns both movies, hands down.
