For all those unfamiliar with the Bible, the Mosaic Law was a law handed to Moses directly from God for the nation of Israel to live by. It included laws on every aspect of life, from war, to sickness, to food, to worship. I say we should adopt the Mosaic Law as the main guideline to the formation of government, aside from the areas of worship, which are obsolete today (no animal sacrifices anymore).

On a side note, If you have a faction willing to fight a war of extermination against the christians who want to base the government on *their* religion, I support you one hundred percent.

Think about all the problems there are in the world, and why they occur. Poverty is mainly due to resource mis-management by the government, even the world (the north-south issues). The pandemic of AIDS, is directly spread through immoral fornication, which is a crime punishable by death through the Mosaic Law. Wars are, I'll admit, inevitable due to human imperfection and disunity, but the Mosaic Law contains many laws governing war and how it's soldiers must conduct themselves. And when you think about it, this is a law from the one who created us and the world, who knows us inside and out. Would it not be the perfect law to live by?

Haha, no. Mosaic as in "of Moses", not the fancy stone artwork stuff.

If I'm not mistaken, God gave Moses the 10 commandments, that's all. It was the Levites in Levitus who got the rest of the "mosaic laws."

I will admit to not being sure about this, but that is how I recall it.

Oh, and since the Torah was probably written by Daniel and his contemptoraries while the jews were in exile in Babylon, it doesn't matter much anyway.

On topic I believe that every Israelite Nation (America, Australia, Britain, etc) should follow the Torah Laws. We should act as the Messiah did, teach the true Israelite people and spread the word.

So, how would marrying that person with AIDS solve anything?

Regarding how this law would help stop the spread of AIDS, what is the point of that? If it would stop the spread of AIDS, it would be by killing those who indulge in the behaviour that allows AIDS to spread, so what exactly is the gain, instead of say 100 at risk people dying of AIDS, all 1000 people who engage in risky behavior are killed under the law (please note the numbers given are for example purposes only and are not intended to reflect actual numbers of people engaged in risky behaviour), for a net loss of 900 lives, sounds like a loose-loose way to combat AIDS to me....

America isn't an "Israelite nation" any more than it is a "Christian nation". If there was one single religious/philosophical conotarion running through america's foundation, it was deism.
