A weird thing happened to me today. Eight months ago, a cat of mine ran away, and we presumed her dead. We then adopted two new kittens. But just today, that cat came back, after eight months in God only knows what type of country. I was shocked, to say the least.

No one else finds this weird? Or is everyone just flocking to my sex thread?

The government abducted your cat and replaced it in the same condition, but gave it cybernetics so they could spy on you.
I know because they did the same thing with my dog. However, they accidentally messed some stuff up, because it stopped responding to commands.
They're after you.

Not really. It immediatly recognized all of us, and our one cat that lived with her did not hiss. Cats are very terretorial creatures, and will defend what they have, unless they are comfortable with another cat. He was, and that was the greatest indicator of all.

She does look a bit fatter, but was obviously not well groomed, for her nails are long. She did, however, look far more rugged than when we last saw her.

You think that the comma there is bad? Here's something stencilled on a ceiling beam in my local pub:
"Drink is the curse of the, working classes"

That's an even worse use of it. But doesn't anyone still think that the sudden return of my cat is weird?

Cats have a very good long-term memory, and it's common to hear stories of them returning to their original owners - months after being seemingly lost - at the drop of a hat.

She's spayed, and we did check to make sure. If she had kids, that'd require divine intervention to do.

Hey. Kind of reminded me of my pet hamster who ran away.
I found it 2 years later, it's skeleton was stuck behind the fridge. :D

This one was live. As far as we're concerned, she's the first ressurected cat.
