I am curious why their is so much controversy over holding deadly hand weapons when people have to license their harmless shitsus? Either make gun registry, or eliminate dog registering, the whole thing is so stupid!

Harmless, my ass! I've seen one of those little rat-dogs take down a full-grown elk!

Well... okay. The elk tripped over the dog. ANd the dog got squashed.

And I laughed myself half to death.

But for the safety of the elk population, we need to keep those things in check!

I'm pretty sure that animal registration is a least partly to prevent animal abuse. I'm not sure, but I believe that that is one of the motivations.

Ensure proper cleaning, use of the right load, care of the stock and grips, that sort of thing. Think of the guns people!

There is no constitutionally protected right to own a pet.

However, I do think guns should be registered as well as gun safety classes being mandatory before a gun can be legally purchased.

With rights come responsibilities....
