Hi, I'll be going down to London in the next week and I'll have to stay overnight. For finacial reasons I do not want to stay in a hotel or hostel, and because I'm getting an early train (6 o'clock ish morning) I do not want to stay at a friends house. Is their anything to do in London between 12 and 6 in the Kings Cross area? Or should I bring a novel with me?

You mean anything to do that won't get you arrested?

I know you said you didn't want to, but you can stay a hostel like the Piccadilly Hotel for a tenner.

EDIT: Just thought I'd add that your thread title made me think of one of those oh, so hilarious black "... at night" postcards.

It's been about twelve years since I was last in the King's Cross area, but I do recall a great many "massage" services being available at that time.

Consult a phone booth in the station. There should be ample advertising in the form of little stickers plastered all over it giving you the appropriate numbers to call.

Other than that I think the area is pretty much a dump.

I was being serious, Kings Cross Station is in the Kings Cross area, isn't it? I've never been to London before so I really don't anything about it, but I think I'll just pay the £10 for a hostel rather than hang with the hookers and pimps. Thanks for the replys guys.
