It should be FIRST.

Other numbers could imply later numbers in a series. People won't want to buy something if they can't find prequels. ;)

Fifth sounds best. It's the assonance.

Well perhaps I should have mentioned this, but it can't be the first. I'd rather not go into detail to explain why, but it would conflict with the story.

The number 3 is perfect. Go with third.

5th.

Because everything is somehow related to 5.

I'd say that any of these would make a sweet title, you'd just have to specify in the book what the previous iterations were and what is meant by this.

The problem is 'iteration' doesn't quite work. I remember a radio drama called 'the Fourth Caution', now that was a good title. Anyway, if you get it published, it's likely the publisher will retitle it.

I personally have an affinity for the word "Seventh". It just goes well everywhere in my opinion.

I put second. To be perfectly fair, though, they all sound crap.

Personally, I think it should be (e^(arccoth(n^(2^(1/n))))+1)-th iteration. But n-th iteration works, too.

Man, that was funny when they did that.

I mean, how stupid do they think the average American is?

I can remember watching [I think it was] Have I Got News For You after that happened and Deayton (those were the days) made the comment they were also considering changing the name of the film Malcolm X for the same reason.

Seconded, because 7 is my super happy lucky number.

If it can't be that, either 4 or 13 are equally good (as each other... not as good as 7)

Voted "turd iteration" with the subtitle "Don't make fun of my accent."
