Time Machine Madness

Anyone have any opinions on John Titor's predictions? Personally, I laughed my ass off and was entertained by a few aspects (photos of the laser beam being dragged like a line outside the window while he's drivin' thru time due to the gravitational field).
Considering the current political climate, do you think an Urban Vs. Country civil disturbance could become reality?

I'm counting on it. Think about it, slums vs. the country. The most gun filled places in the country, one on one. I plan to tape it all and sell it has a documentary.

Time machines?

There is only one man who invented the time machine, and his name is Warren Buffet.

No, they're too interdependent.

I don't see it happening. Americans are too "The Government is always right!" to declare war on themselves.

Time Travel = Looking at a digital clock when you're about to fall asleep, then you blink and suddenly it's 9 hours later, and you're like, "Whoa."

It's probably bullshit, but great theater (holes in our current supertstring/multiuniverse theories allow him to be right either way).

Aside from the topic, I'm a Libertarian and find this untrue. Most are unhappy but have to settle for what's offered.
I see that it's convenient due to our current polarization.

Current physics, as I understand it, doesn't prohibit time travel in principle at least, and the theory behind his time travel seems reasonable, if a little vague. However, the fact that what he tells us about time travel is nothing more than what we already suspect suggests to me that he doesn't know anything more about it than we do. If he were a real time traveller he could produce immediately verifiable scientific predictions.

Of course he says he doesn't really want us to believe him... *shrug*. I think if human beings really could time travel, we'd have run into more than one.

Nope, just the one who came back and picked stocks to become the richest man in the world. Warren Buffet

I've read some of his stuff...all his predictions are exceedingly vague. You could look at just about anything and make an argument that he predicted it. So, I'm gonna call BS on him and say that either he's completely insane, or an amazing con artist. If it's the latter, and he's reading this right now...congrats, man. You've done well.

Wouldn't do any good. The American government has such a sophisticated military, it would be of no use. Nonviolent Activism would be the only effective method of retalliation. But that takes more brains and patience than I feel we have...
