I am in this class; got an 86 1st-quarter and now maintaining 94+ in the 2nd . . .

Does anybody else friggin hate this class? Basically I am really pissed off now because of the constraints assignment my teacher gave me for tonight.

While I finished it, it took me like 5 tries and 3 1/2 hours . . .

Enjoy it while you can. It (math) only gets harder.

(2-2i)/(13+4i) type stuff?

Sorry I was being vague - I should have said linear programming

Wait until you get to Calculus II. In calculus you relearn math.

One of my friends is in AP Calc; he says it's *sarcastic*fun*/sarcastic*

= (18-34i)/185

For some odd reason, I find calc much simpler than say Algebra II or Trig... then again I could be doing it completely wrong... either way, I win

It's basically graphing inequalities (only there are a TON of them; known as constraints) as to acquire a "feasible region" (region of solutions).

Got a graphing calc? Those help fairly well.

yeah... math words. I kinda remember them from Trig and that I just graphed them and made up stuff. I love my calculator ;)

So I've heard . . . unfortunately those cost $$$ and that's something I'm fairly short on (maybe I'll just put it on my holiday wish list)

Come join my alg II. Our teacher's retarded, we're still on factoring polynomials, Alg I stuff!

Alg I stuff!

Stuff your calc will do completely for you. And yeah, I have one on my Christmas list, one that does like everything... the bliss of not actually having to know the math.

I have no idea what algebra I, algebra II or anything else are.

I will therefore supply another set of acronyms which reflect my math schedule for the next four years which most likely will mean nothing to you.

1- MQ1 thru MQ4
2- MQ5 thru MQ6
3- ME81 thru ME82
4- MECA thru MECB OR MAXX thru MAXY and/or (MELA and MEST) and/or (MEXS thru MEXT) and/or (MEXS thru MEXE)

Ooooh, mister fancy pants!

I was majoring in Math, but I'm too lazy to go back to uni to finish it off, especially since I've already got two degrees.... ;)
I'm two papers away though...eternally, two papers away from being an evil genius

I hate calculus and anything to do with it, give me discrete mathematics thank you very much. I like not having to use calculators of any type.

My girlfriend's a math major, so high five.
