Regarding the issue of abortion, it should be left to the people who are affected to decide, not those of us who cannot even give birth in the first place, such as myself.
Regarding the topic, we also get the horror of watching Bush commit atrocities that make Iraq and 9/11 look like a kid's picnic, if he isn't impeached first.
But we also get a new Democrat: me. And by that, I mean someone who has decided to go into politics as a result of this election. I remember watching Brokaw discussing with the host of Meet The Press(who's name escapes me at the moment) about how the Democratic Party needs someone who can unite it again and provide new hope. I responded by saying, "He's sitting right here."

Not that I agree with this fellas opinion or anything, but saying someone is chauvinistic because they don't believe in abortion is absurd. For one, some people do not believe in it because they think it is murder. Second, some women think abortion is wrong. Would you call them chauvinistic?

I one-upped him by parroting back a corrupted version of his own sentence, in a way crafted to underscore for him the gravity of his initial, knee-jerk response, and to denigrate his rather appalling characterization of women.
