Let me know your comments. I'm not going to give my own opinion, I'm just curious what you all think!

As none of them (other than the challenger) are in and of themselves any kind of sovereign-thinking individual, nor do any of them take full responsibility for the choices that they should be responsible for, none of them (other than the challenger) merit being in charge of anything, only maybe working some kind of low-brow menial task with a lot of labor and little room for advancement based on contacts and friends.
Mind you this response is due the choices. I'm sure that's a common malady.

Saddam, because as much as everyone hates him, he got things done. And managed to keep civil peace in Iraq, something the US is barely pulling through, if that.

Of course, that is just from the choices given.

I think a dog would be better than a human.

Or Bob Marley. No wars with him in charge.

Well, it is pretty peaceful when you gas or execute everyone that opposes you, so he's got a point.

Tony Blair deserves beheading for his sell-out of English liberties and his attempts to create a police-state. Death to ID CARDS!

I don't know who schnorbitz the dog is, but the fact that he isn't one of the other three is good enough.

I voted for the dog.

I have been heard to say i would rather have Mickey Mouse than Bush.

Saddam is too authoritarian for my tastes.

And really, the only reason i didnt vote for Blair is because he suppported this insane war against terrorism (you can't kill ideas with munitions). but in Blairs defense, i will say this:

He seems like a good hearted, idealistic individual. Unfortunately, he was bamboozled by the Bush administration's presentation of skewed intelligence and Rovian rhetoric. Left to his own devices, uninfluenced by the neoCons, I think Blair could have been a fabulous leader. He DOES want to do the right thing. He was just misled as to what that WAS.

Have Saddam and Bin aden fight in a tag-team match against Bush and Blair. No security guards permitted, let the best man win!

(It turns out bush and blair are wimpy cowards who have their butts kicked. Then I blow up the battlefield, eliminating the 4 main problems from the world.)

No, he wants to create a dictatorship. Down with Blair!

I think a dog would be better than a human.

Or Bob Marley. No wars with him in charge.Well since Bob is dead I think that puts him out of the running.

His son Ziggy could step in though.

Would that be George Herbert Walker Bush or George Walker Bush?

Well, I don't find it particularly practical for any one person to be the leader of the world. The position would be, at best, a ceremonial position with little real authority. A figurehead. There's simply too much one would need to take care of, so many regional issues and disputes, that most authority would need to go to regional authorities to deal with these things. However, Bush, Blair or Hussein would actually want to exercise authority, disrupting this delicate balance, so they're out of the running. The only logical choice is the dog.
On the other hand, if the leader had no authority at all, I'd either go with Blair or Hussein. Blair because he speaks well, and that's always useful for a figurehead, and Hussein because putting an Arab Muslim in the position would be a nice hand-out to the pissed off Arab Muslims around the world: a way of saying "see, we don't hate you: the leader of the world is one of you", although it would accomplish nothing significant.... Then again, I'd have to see the dog. Is it a cute dog? If so, I think world leaders are on the whole lacking in cuteness, so the dog wins.

I'm very pleased to see so many votes - thanks people!

And smiling at the thought of good old Schnorbitz in charge.

Keep the votes coming!

Oh, and if anyone's interested, owing to our four-legged friend's popularity, I'm setting up a Region called Schnorbitzville. Feel free to drop in and stay a while....
