19,990 pop-ups blocked in under a year.
And I only visited ONE pop-up-bomb site that sent around 5,000 at me.
My point?
The internet is starting to suck.

Agreed … I am the head of a department who’s role in the last 4 years has changed from initially network card installation and connection troubleshooting to amost exclusively spyware and viral removal
It is getting ridiculous … we have worked on thousands of infected machines
Popup sites
Ridiculous redirectors and hijackers
We have to get some laws in place to fine these people

I just let my precious firefox dance it's magic, and the pop-ups are no more.

IE is fine with a googletoolbar
I'm using Firefox too. Since it's my profession I have to wonder, who are these asshole "professionals" who design popup ads on their client's web sites?
It's the designers fault and they should be fired for unethical advertising schemes. Creating attractive in-page ads is a much more effective way to market a product or service, not by irritating your visitors.
Oh well, I'm just trying to make the net a better place one site at a time (okay, more than that usually, but you get my point).

The new update for IE also has popup blocking capability
Though we have found it to be annoying lol
Also better hope fire fox doesn’t become too big (I use it too) but once it gets on the map as a target … there will be spy ware and sites designed to take advantage of it
