What would you call me (in terms of religion?)

I follow none of the religions we currently have (neither any of the major ones nor any of the pagan/whatever else ones)

I'm not Atheist (I do believe there are gods/goddesses/devils/supernatural/"magic"/etc.)

I usually refer to myself as agnostic, for the lack of anything better to use. However, I'm not truly agnostic, as I do believe it is possible to know of god and other such things.

I have a sort of vague system of beliefs (of my own creation), but they are more of something I just kinda think makes sense rather than any real solid belief.

So... what would you classify me as?

Simple, make up a name for your own system of beliefs and that is what we can classify you as.
I don't see why you should be forced into any lable you don't choose.

Well if someone asks me "what religion are you", it's easier to say "Agnostic" or "Atheist" or possibly some other term that fits what I am that I'm not aware of, than to say "well see I have this system of beliefs that I don't really actually believe that strongly in, but you know, it makes sense and all... so use whatever you like".

But yes, it's not a super important thing, more of a curiosity thing as to whether there is actually a term that fits this....

You haven't really given us enough info, so I'll categorize you as:

Religion: "Eh."

An Adogmatic, or perhaps Antidogmatic, Gnostic Theist.

Like ME!!! :D

...although I lean heavily towards pre-roman Christianity, as well as Buddhism, Islam, Judaism and Taoism.

That would depend on what your vague system of beliefs entails.

If you do believe in some form of higher power, then deist probably fits you well enough.

Though the term is usually derogitory, I would say you classify as a pagan. You don't follow a religion but you believe in a god. It is a loose fitting term but it works.

I'd classify you as confused about the definition of pagan (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=pagan). ;)

It seems to me that you are not very far away from being a Thelemite.

That is someone who knows (or is searching for) what your True Will is and you seek to do that and nothing else.

If you would like to see more of what Thelema is all about, then I would recommend looking at an organization called the Ordo Templi Orientis.

Just me two cents.

Go Taoism!
The Tao rocks!
Yet at the same time it does not rock ;)

Hmmm thanks for the suggestions. I'll check out some of them.

Humanist doesn't seem to be quite right though.

I'll recheck the definition of paganism and I'll look at that thelemite thing (hadn't heard of it before :P)

Amyst might have ahd something there with deist, just so you know. And pagan has so many meanings, and I wouldn't advise calling yourself that unless you are actually a pagan, like a Wiccan. Too many people consider it to be demon worship or some such nonsense.

That's what I was thinking: a Deist, like Voltaire. Believe in a supreme being, a creator, and (I think this is necessary: it at least fits with Voltaire) a natural law: a belief in right and wrong.

Does a Thelemite believe in a Supreme Being above himself? I'm fairly sure that Crowley didn't.

I'd classify you as a Philosopher. For the simple reason that you're thinking about it, even if you're not quite sure.

If you're still interested, check out my topic a few topics down on the God Community theory; it's a little long winded, but maybe it'll help you to clarify your thoughts a bit.
