Ok this has most probably been done before (I would be suprised if it hadnt), but im curious and couldnt find anything like this in a search (mods are welcome to delete this thread if im just being a moron)

Anyway, what region are you from?
Be interesting to see - especially after looking at this (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=376822) thread.

ps: sorry if you get annoyed with the regions ive selected in the poll; im not too great on world geography :( and am too lazy to write anything other than the first regions that pop in my head ;)

I could.

(Added) I've never lived in the States, so that may have something to do with it. In fact my only contact to other Americans is through formerly military run organizations such as my swim team or scout troop, so I have the wonderful opportunity of meeting kids that don't know who's running the country their parents are stationed in.

Hahaha, funny ;) Well, not so few Americans (and probably meny others) really think that eskimos live in Iceland and that the country is covered with ice. Well, perhaps not so ridiculous idea when you don´t know anything about Iceland except the name. But it's not like it's hard to get to know at least the basics about our country and of course just any country :)

Yeah, this poll is weird :) Some of the options are countries and some continents and then some large parts of the world are simply missing :D

I actually don´t care so much about being catagorized with Europe. I live in Iceland but we actually have much more in common with the Americans (except for the alleged stupidity :D) than Europe.

When we Icelanders talk about Europe we mean Europe except for Iceland. We even talk about going to Europe when we travel to another European country :) I understand the Brits do the same, they often talk about Europe when they mean the European continent.
