The Single Greatest Ever

I am at home over the Thanksgiving break, and I happened to stumble across "The Presidential Prayer Card."

It features a picture of Bush with his head bowed and the Jesus fish on the front. On the back side of the title page is this:

A Prayer for
Leadership

Dear Lord, preserve our
steadfast leadership during
these perilous times of decision
and change. Guide us with your
grace and goodness to set goals
in accordance with God's
purpose and fight for those
ideals and freedoms
we hold dear.

Grant us clarity and courage to
stay the course and continue on
the righteous path for the glory
of God and the welfare of our
great nation.

It goes on to include quotes from Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King, and of course three by George Bush. It is of note that Abraham Lincoln and Thomas Jefferson were far from traditional christians.

Personal favorites amongst the quotes:
"Those who would deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves; and under a just God, cannot long retain it."
-Abraham Lincoln

"The liberty we prize is not America's gift to the world; it is God's gift to humanity."
-George W. Bush

I would like for Bush to explain that last one to all of the troops "bringing democracy" to Iraq.

Is this not the single greatest thing ever. I feel like Nicholas Cage in National Treasure.
