To all liberals and conservatives, in America and all other countries, Happy Thanksgiving.
I am thankful for:
My God.
My lovely wife of 14 years.
My three children: Lindsay, Matthew, and Nathaniel.
Our first Thanksgiving in the first home that we own!
My job.

All other countries? It's a totally American thing- giving thanks for your er, 'god-given' land, is it not?

May be American, but it's not just giving thanks for my 'god-given' land that you so derisively referred to (ending with infinitive, oh well). I can wish you a Happy Thanksgiving if I want, and you can't stop me, so there!

To all those people soon to be celebrating Thanksgiving, Happy Thanksgiving.

I am thankful for:
having Thanksgiving in mid-October, before Hallowe'en. Makes it much more of a harvest festival, that way.

Yes.

I would like to wish a happy thanksgiving to all tht celebrate it, and give my best wishes anyway to those who don't.

May this holiday season be joyful, and the new year rewarding.

I am thankful that we don't have thanksgiving here. I'm not sure why, I just am.

Woah, there was an interpretation of that line that I didn't expect. :)

Happy Thanksgiving to all in the US - I'm British so I don't celebrate that holiday, but hey - I'm not fussy. :)

Thankful that it is brief, or thankful for even the slightest sliver of time from crushefekt?

I didnt mean for it to sound sarcastic, but I thought the idea was thanks for a god-given land considering that's how the original settlers viewed it, I believe. I don't know. Yeah, you can wish me a happy thanksgiving if you like. I'm not fussed. Just send me some turkey, mmmkay? :)

Happy uh...May Day when it comes around.
