it truly was freedom... it was like you could stand up to anybody you wanted, it was freedom. We are so stifled by mod oppression that we cant even formulate our own opinions anymore because we are afraid of deletion.

Okay seeya. I got bent out of shape by what I felt were heavy-handed Mod decisions (concerning satire) and split in a huff of righteous indignation, but I ended up coming back.
Why?
Because as messed up as I might find the neocons who haunt this forum to be, I've yet to find a forum that really gives both sides the chance to fire off at each other. Every other forum I've been to is just a mutual appreciation society for either the left- or right-wings of the political spectrum, and believe me, it's as much fun as watching shadows move across the floor.
