Please, right-wingers only! Which potential Democratic nominee in 2008 would you MOST be willing to vote for?

Hillary

You should've made the poll public though :(

None. They'd all make pretty bad presidents. The only democrat I'd ever vote for is Zell Miller, but he's not likely to run.

Why didn't you put Obama up?

Eh, I like John Edwards. I'd probably vote for him out of the candidates mentioned. I'd have to learn more about Obama, but I heard he's pretty good too.

If Joe Lieberman or Hillary Clinton became president, I'd consider moving to Canada or Australia.

Whoops, I read the thread title but not the poll question so I answered wrong :(

I'm honestly not sure. I'll wait and see if one comes along that I like, but I bet there isn't a Democrat out there that I can vote for.

Are you kidding??? ZELL MILLER?!?!?! The guy is worse than Bush! And Im Democratic! Trust me, if he were elected the country would be in chaos, THE GUY WANTED TO CHALLENGE CHRIS MATHEWS TO A DUAL HE SAID SO ON NATIONAL TV!!! He is way too extreme for me, and probably most right wingers even.

If you're done with them, I think Sesame Street needs some of those exclamation points and question marks back. Big Bird's doing a special on "Things you shouldn't overuse in a public forum" tomorrow.

Not sure. There are some good, moderate Democrats out there. I actually have always been a Lieberman fan. Just not Hillary; please God...

Obama wouldn't win; he's too inexperienced in federal politics. The man just got his Senate seat.

You only think he's worse than Bush because he supported Bush. To me, he's the only real democrat out there. All the others are whiny, slimy, and have no backbone at all. You democrats don't realize that we need an ass kicker in office, not a pussy.

Zell Miller is in the early stages of alzheimers.

And also, Obama has had, I think, 8 years of political experience already. By the next election, he will now have 12 years of experience. That's more than plenty.

Did you listen to his speech at the RNC? If it's not alzheimers, then I'll have to say he's a lunatic.

I'm a Democrat, and I thought it would be interesting to see who the GOP would most support. I loved John Kerry but it's become clear to me now that "Massachusetts liberals" can't win. I personally like Bill Nelson.

Quote from an actual Zell MIller speech from a couple of years ago:

"In his 16 years in the Senate, John Kerry has fought against government waste and worked hard to bring some accountability to Washington.

Early in his Senate career in 1986, John signed on to the Gramm-Rudman-Hollings Deficit Reduction Bill, and he fought for balanced budgets before it was considered politically correct for Democrats to do so.

John has worked to strengthen our military, reform public education, boost the economy and protect the environment. Business Week magazine named him one of the top pro-technology legislators and made him a member of its 'Digital Dozen.'"

There is little to worry about so long as the Dems keep moving further left as they have been doing over the last few years. If they had really wanted to move to the center then Liberman would have had a better showing.

Obama has no more experience than Edwards, so I don't see how they could holdthat against him, however Dems seem to cannibalize anyone who does too well... so I think Obama is dust.

Hillary is too likely to energize the right, bad choice but likely the one they will pick.

I'd love to see someone like Liberman win, but I'm afraid there are still too many bigots in America to allow that, as we saw in the primaries.

The best Democratic candidate they could find would be one with the ability to control the radical elements of the party and bring it more in line with mainstream America. I've not seen that person yet....

I really disagree that the party is moving left. If it were so, we would have chosen Dennis Kucinich. I personally would like a moderate in the party, and I know that many in the party do as well. About experience...Edwards had just as much experience in politics as George W. Bush in 2000! Just 6 years in politics! And how is not electing Lieberman bigotry?

I wouldn't vote for any of them, but if I had to pick one, I'd say John Edwards. I don't know alot about 1 or 2 of em, but in general from what I do know I'd say Edwards.
