Turmoil in the world

What is he world comming to? How will all the turmoil in the world affect the future of America, or the future of the world for that matter? With the US and a "coalition of the willing" in Iraq and Afghanistan, the US cant support another war, though troops are just now leaving Bosnia after 9 years. The Middle East is in Turmoil With the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the terrorism. The Israelis live in constant fear of being attacked by another Mid-East nation, although the death of Yasser Arrafat may open a road for peace. Iran persuing Nuclear power, and possibly a nuclear missile, as a deterrent or for use against someone, and that doesn't aid the situation at all. Then there is North Korea, who possibly already has WMD, and doesn't like its neighbor to the south, or anybody else for that matter. Both of these nations are a possible threat to the US and its allies if they obtain WMD. Africa is also in a pretty pickle. With Ivory Coast on the brink of civil war, and skirmishes with France, and Rwanda on the verge of going into Hutu, Africa may because engulfed in war. Then there is the elections in Ukraine. With the world just getting over the very close US election, the elections ins Ukraine have gone bad. Does this mean the fall of democrocy? Have the people of the world finally became incapable to choosing a leader peacefully? How do all of these situations shape the world we live in today, and the one that we will wake up in tomorrow?
It will all be OK. Democracy will not fall, and we will wake up in tomorrow.
In the future we will all die.
Really, i´m not joking, we will. Ask google!

I've had the same inquiries my friend, its too bad more people, especially americans, do not think on a global level. I feel that the US has begun its fall, just as all superpowers over history have done. I don't know if you live in the states, but for those of you who do it seems as though the draft will be reinstated in order to keep up with the warmongerers insaitable thirst for war against countries who "could" pose a threat to them. As for the middle east, I feel, it will be more or less taken over by the US by the propping up of puppet governments and leaders which the US controls. They already have the Saudis, the Isrealis, the Iraqis (more or less anyways), The Afghanis, and of course the Kuwaitis. As I see it, that doesn't leave many more countries to invade and "take over". However, I also see this as the possible start of a huge war on a global scale because it will not take very long for other countries to start limiting the US resources and possibly to use force against the US to save the middle eastern peoples just as the US intervened to save the european people in WW2, and a new superpower will emerge just as the US emerged from WW2 as the superpower. As for N. Korea, the US will probably go in there to because the "idiot from texas" wants to seem evenhanded in his pre-emptive war doctrine (look up the bush doctrine, it really is nothing but justification for preemptive warfare). This is a sad time for the world, maybe the beginning of the end...
Seriously.
The bad portion of the world is US + Middle East.
Europe is doing great, South America is developing well (we still got long ways to go, but we are getting there, socially, we are far better then the US, only our economy is REALLY screwed), Don´t know about Africa, sorry, but I imagine that now they are starting to get up from the centuries of abuse, they are the ones who have the longer way to go, but are going, I guess; Asia is developing REALLY well, even if China has it great amount of freedom issues, the economy is growing nicely, so, the entire Asia will benefit from it. North Korea is messed up, but South Korea is still a great country.
This all above is a oversimplified view of the world, but, well, it is a way I found to say everything without getting deeeeeeep deep in any subject.
As for the Middle East, the process for peace is messed up, the future is unknown and, as I said a few times before, the US is holding the evolution of mankind behind. They hold lotsa guns and lotsa money and they are using it to stop makind in a darker version of the 1940s, with WWII and all.
There will be no draft in the US. It would lower the quality of the American military and be a death sentance for whichever party endorses it.

South America making progress, you meant the land of Banana Republics and Tin-Pot Dictators? Africa getting up? Europe has unemployment and social problems like out the wazoo (France and Headscarves, Germany and Immigrants, etc.) Hell, you're basically saying that it's better to live in China than in the US.
Comparing life in the US to life in the Middle East is a stretch to say the least. I live in the State of Ohio, and I really don't exactly feel oppressed, even though I don't always agree with the Bush administration (Patriot Act, here's lookin' at you.) I don't find myself innundated by right-wing nuts, and I find debate to be lively and healthy.

Do you live in the US? From your post it seems not. Almost no one thinks the draft will need to be reinstated except scaremongers on the left.

Europe is doing great
Anything to back that up? No? What a suprise

Speaking as a scaremonger on the left, even I know there will be no draft.

Tin-Pot Dictators that don´t exist anymore it´s been nearly 20 years and that YOU put them in power. South American only HAD dictators because the UNITED STATES put them there. It is a well known fact in the whole world how you enslaved a whole continent... and now you say "tin-pot dictators" preety funny that you bought this computer of yours with money your representatives here in South Ameirca (the dictators) stole from my people. And I am saying that the whole world has its issues, but everyone is going ahead, everyone who has conditions to improve in some way is working on to do so, China is a mess, it´s better to live in the US then in China, but, the Chinese are trying improving, they are evolving. Now, the US has lots of room for improvement, condition to do so, money enough to help all the poor countries of the world to get on their feet and they spend this money on genocides. US is a great country, but it is going back, one day will not be so great anymore.

I mourn your obviously tenuous grip on reality.
