The Truth about Bush and 9/11

When Al Gore was elected in 2000 he gave up and Bush and the other right wing Republicans took office, In the period of time between Bushs inauguration and 9/11 he didnt hold a single meeting, and when he was criticized he spent a month in Texas at his ranch. Now some people say Bush knew about 9/11, not the date but just that he knew the info, this is NOT true, he couldnt have known, because he ignored the daily reports that the CIA and FBI had given him, and all of his cabinet members ignored it, in fact one cabinet member said "I dont want to hear anything else about Osama Bin Laden." Not to be confused with Bushs statement; "I dont care about Osama Bin Laden anymore." So 9/11 wasnt only do to 19 years of careful planning, or the countrys who sent terrorists and allowed it in their country; (Saudi Arabia Egypt and Jordan, the countrys that the terrorists came from, in that order from greatest to least) But to the extreme lack of attention and extreme ignorance of our government in office.

Stop saying I got it from Fahrenheit 9/11, I got it mostly from the 9/11 Commision book.

This info. was out there long before Farenheit 911. I first heard about the Bush administration's blatant disregard of the terrorist threat posed by Al Quaeda in the book "The Age of Sacred Terror". It also came out in the 911 hearings. Since when is stating the facts biased?

You saw that on Michael Moore´s movie don´t you?
Well, then I don´t believe in you.
I am strongly anti-bush and these kind of information by fahrenheit made me feel bad for that cruel warmonger dictator who murder iraqis for pure pleasure.
Bush is a force of evil in this world, but even he don´t deserve that bunch of lies.

This is also mainly directed at Bush supporters who think that he is god and he is so innocent.

thats a flawed way of looking at it

most of them are ignorant and believe he embodies the american presidency. Thats why it didnt matter how well he performed in the debates, as long as he seemed steadfast

Now, I'm not saying that President Bush knew about 9/11 ahead of time, but just because he didn't have meetings on Al Queda doesn't mean he would not have any clue of their actions.

I would be very certain that at least half of his cabinet members were well informed on Bin Laden.

If anything, the singling out of not wanting to hear about Bin Laden may point to more of an alibi building technique.

My opinion is that bush thanks god everyday for 9/11. Weren´t for it, he would never be re-elected. This can expand to that conspiracy theories that he ordered the 9/11, I don´t believe in it, but the thing is that 9/11 was the happiest day of his life.

By the same token I would think that it was conspiracy theorists best day … like you as a matter of fact… I mean I am sure you would have found another one to go on by now but still what a doosy … lets take a massive event and make up theories to which here are no proof

Lol

It´s not a conspiracy theory, as I say, I don´t believe bush ordered the 9/11, but, you have to admit that it was 9/11 that won the election for him, would not be it, what would his plataform be? "I will protect you from... from... err... dirty... comunists... err... I will... err... kill gay people..."

As soon as I see it at a reasonable price, I think I'm going to buy and read the 9/11 commission report so I can be the only one not talking out of my ass about it.

Please. Without 9/11, he wouldn't be fighting an unpopular war, and we probably wouldn't be in a recession either. Running against someone like Kerry during a time of peace and economic stability, he'd likely have won by a good ten points.

Thanks for the heads-up, I just found it at this site (http://www.gpoaccess.gov/911/) if anyone else is interested. I still may try and buy the book. Staring at a computer screen for 585 pages will be bad for the eyes.

The hearings were broadcast on NPR. I listened to them. I'm not talking out of my ass.

Why don't you take your idiotic "opinions" and ... well ... Myrth wouldn't approve of what I really want to say, so just consider you and your "opinions" to have been gestured at obscenely.

I agree, that was a very shitty thing to say. I may not think Bush is the best president we have ever had, but to say he celebrates the death of 3000 American citizens is reckless and vile.

If you think Farenheight offered any new information, you haven't been paying attention. All MM did is put it together is his movie with his commentary/opinion.
