Drinking and Posting

So, right now I currently sit here posting on the forum drinking a crappy vodka martini, after drinking a few Red Stripes, a bottle of Boonesfarm, and some crappy fruit drink my roommate made. I noticed, while doing this, that I tend to post a lot more on this board while/after drinking. This is probably not good for a repuatation.
So, I pose these questions. Have you ever posted drunk (or all the time)? Or should this be avoided as to not make one look like an ass?

I don't drink while posting here, because I'm at work. If you're drunk and make yourself look like an ass, I doubt it would matter very much. Some other dumb F*#ker would just one-up you ten minutes later and everyone would forget about your comment(s). Attention spans run short on internet forums.

Yeah, I suppose I forgot about the morons who post while "clear headed"

Who knows? Maybe they really are just really drunk... all the time...

either way drunk or sober, most people only post why they think will sound the best. the most inflamitory.
Can you include posting whilst working in a zombie-like state that results from being completely bored to death by the task at hand, and numbed beyond belief to all sensation by the horrid, horrid drudgery that is life?
Then include me :p

I think that counts. Anything that makes you not completley focused counts.

Exactly what I do all the time...
I post here only while I'm working or drinking.... :D

I added a poll because I thought it was needed.

I put maybe, because I've posted drunk on other forums, just not this one.
EDIT: Oh, not drinking on my own infront of the computer though, just after getting home steamed at 1am.

I've done it several times.

Never been much of a drinker, but I've tried posting high and found I just didn't care enough-or too much. I would stare at a response that looked two pages long and realise I had wandered off-topic on the second paragraph and would just hit the 'back' button and laugh at the unmade responses in my head.
I tried to post on 'shrums but the catagories wouldn't sit still long enough for me to get a handle on them so I just sat in the dark and watched my screensaver go by...

A few times... It takes forever to finish a post when drunk without spelling mistakes and I always leave another 10 in it :(

Yeah, me too. I end up rereading my reply two or three times just to see if I made any dumb mistakes. I end up not seeing some of them. But I do that anyway.
I can't remember posting while sober!

I was wondering when someone would say this. I knew some posters were drunk all the time and others who I thought were always drunk.

I guess that means me basically share something in common. I would say 215 out of my 285 posts have been posted while I was drunk or at least slightly drunk.

Bump.
We got some people to admit they had. I still want to know everyone's opinion on whether it should be avoided or not.

I'd say my posts are:
50% Sober
25% Buzzed/drunk
25% Blacked out drunk

Corona...ugg...
EDIT - oh, and to answer the question - it should be encouraged.

I highly commend the practice of heavy drinking to everyone. Sure, you may do embarassing things that you will regret when you are sober again, but that downside is easily dealt with by staying drunk. Forever.

Thank you. But I can't take all the credit. The booze helped a lot.

For once thee and me are in complete agreement! Here's to another! *cracks open bottle of Budvar*
No... I'm underage. And alcohol's nasty anyway. If I ever get into drugs, I'm going straight for the hallucinating ones. Mood ones are freaky.

Drinking is the only way for me to get through some of the idiotic and inflamitory things that people post on the NS' boards. If I was to post when I was completely sober or grounded, I would just mercilessly shred those offenders. So in the intrests of not pissing off to many people, I always keep myself a little drunk (or high) when I post.
I once posted when I was worried that I'd accidentally taken LSD. Does that count?
yup, drunk and high. My arguments make more sense that way

It is great to see how many people actually agree that alcohol makes this board better.
"NS forums: better after a pint."

I wouldn't want my thread to be used to make a person look like a moron or that their opinion held less weight. Plus, some people have already admitted that they do.
