My computer says my Sound Device isn't working... My Speakers generate as online, but no sound comes out, and i get error messages whenever i play an audio, i get an error message saying... My Sound Device isn't working.

I have tried the troubleshoot that comes with my computer, and currently we can't find the CD that installed it in the first place.

Any suggestions for the meanwhile?

Try to find drivers for sound card. If you don't have a disk you should be able to find them on the net. I don't know if it will help, but it may be worth a try.
