If this is true, there will no doubt be quite a bit of trouble over this. In any case, should there be fraud in this election, I want it investigated immediatly.

I think Russia still has a significant amount of control over Ukraine. So the president of Ukraine will be whoever Putin wants to be president there...

Not necessarily. Both Russia and Eastern Europe have been moving towards the West ever since the Cold War, especially those in Eastern Europe. Quite a few in the former Soviet republics feel that Russia is running a quasi-imperialist show where they are driving their sattelite nations into a downward spiral. Even Russia, while not quite a good ally, is not hostile to the West. If change comes in Kiev, we won't see something like the Prague Spring incident, where the Red Army rolled in its tanks into Prague to recapture Czechloslovakia.

Diebold iz t3h fraudz0rz!!! ^_^

Well, all's I know is, fraud is bad. Election fraud is really bad. And if it's not taken care of, the President-elect will find himself "taken care of." (Angry populi and neocon psychos tend to do that.) So he better get this cleared up for his own good.

Some on the opposition have suggested that they may try a coup, should the Prime Minister win the presidency.

The entire article is scary. The opening paragraphs show how the opposition is handling this, and it doesn't look pretty. In the middle of the story, it tells of the primary piece of evidence against the election results.

Elections are a waste of time since they never really CHANGE anything...

If voting could change anything, it would be outlawed...
