I've got a paper due Monday . . .

I think it is a general belief of all students that papers are evil...

Homework should be abolished. Our classes should just have tests(my papers due on wenesday it has to be at least 8 pages too :( )

What's that in words? If it's less than 5,000 words you should stop feeling sorry for yourself, otherwise you have my sympathy. ;)

I have a paper do tomorrow as well. Only 10 or so pages.

The joy of higher education: the higher you go, the more papers you have to write. Not only do you have to write more of them (all my classes now are 3 or more per quarter), but they expect you to actually know the stuff. Analysis and conclusions are all that matter after a good presentation of the situation.

Oh well, just two more papers and this class is done. Then I can relax for a couple of weeks before the next one starts.

I'm only joking - that's bad enough. :o I always have an irresistable urge to go back and delete, correct edit, etc... nothing worse. Good luck with it.

These papers would be so much easier if I could use my own opinions, but instead I have to write a research paper, something I've been doing for ages. I am forbidden from using any of my own ideas from getting through until the end of the paper. Curses.

I can top that. D-Day is interesting, meanwhile a thirty page paper on "The Effects of base content percentage upon acid neutralization over 10 minutes" in 11th grade (US high school)

Ah, your page margins aren't big enough... I get about 330 words to a page, so 10,000 words takes up 30 pages or so, 1.5 spaced. I don't like the sound of Swedish high schools - 21k??? The longest essay I had to write for my undergraduate degree was 12,000 words, and that was my final dissertation.

I myself am working on a 10-page paper on the Greek myth of Orpheus...I want to bang my head on a wall. But at least it's my last paper...ever, hopefully. That's about 2,500 words, according to Word.
