Are there any Non-Americans out there who support the war in Iraq?

I'm just curious.

there are of course some, but not very many. Especially since the war isn't even popular in america anymore.

I am a Kiwi and would support America winning the war in Iraq, but I would also support America getting their troops out of Iraq right now.

I do not support the war because I do not support the current tactics being used in Iraq - the "sit-in-desert-get-shot-at" or "Bush" doctrine.

I don't, and everyone who I've talked to about it doesn't. I have, however seen the occasional letter to the editor supporting it, but they probably came from the American embassy..

I would imagine that a few in The UK, the Netherlands, Denmark, Portugal, Italy, Montenegro, Albania, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, the Baltic States, Ukraine, and Turkey do.

I am Australian. I have, in principle, support for the war - Liberating a horribly oppressed people from a murderous dictator. However, George Bush was not the right man to lead it, the WMD excuse was just stupid, and the handling post-"victory" has been mediocre at best.

I did at the time; I was all for it at the time - and a little annoyed that New Zealand wasn't helping (not that we could have given you guys much, a few crappy C-130's and the SAS...). It was very pleasing to see that bastard Saddam get his ass kicked.

However, I'm not sure about the whole thing now. I really only supported it because I believed all that crap Colin Powell tried to sell to the UN, but since they've gone in and the intelligence used has had a good grilling…

Personally, George W. Bush was foolish to rush in like that without any real plan and as the last poster said, his excuse was lame. If it had been done differently, I would be in full support. I suppose they have to stay now and see to it that democracy is restored, but bah... that isn't going to happen anytime soon. They are insane to think that Iraq will be ready for an election in January...
