Man cuts off thieving teens' penises

BANGKOK (Reuters) - A Thai house painter cut off the penises of two teenagers with a knife after he found out they had stolen 50,000 baht (676 pounds) of his savings from an ATM machine, police say.

Manit Srithammathan, 40, told police the teenagers, now in hospital, deserved the punishment as they had betrayed his kindness in letting them stay at his Bangkok suburban house, they said on Saturday.

"There's nothing they deserved more for stealing the money I saved that could have helped me get a job abroad," a police spokesman quoted him as saying.

The painter, facing charges of life-threatening assaults and unlawful confinement, said he could not control his rage as the boys, aged 14 and 15, refused to confess to the theft which he discovered after checking a video record kept by the bank.

Manit threw the severed penises into a canal before his neighbours tipped police off about the incident.


I think we should hire John Bobbit to consul these teens on their "loss".

That's great.. I am willing to be they'll think twice about ever committing any crimes. EVER.. Those boys may not even jaywalk after this... That's hillarious.

heh heh... you said "clear cut" and that's exactly what he did :D :D :D :D :D

So I guess these boys got the point. The funny thing is probably some fish came along and ate the severed members. Now some poor Thai fisherman will catch these fish and end up eating dookie. Oh the irony if his wife would eat the fish, but wouldn't give oral.

Hmm. Maybe I'm the crazy one here... Okay. Bad way to start a post. Hehehe. But I suspect there is more than meets the eye here. It didn't say they were adopted, or foster children. This man is letting two teenage boys live in his house. Purely out of the goodness of his, um, heart. And when they rob him, the first thing he thinks of is to cut off their penises.

*eyes narrow slightly* I think there may be more to this story. SHerlock Holmes I'm not, but I think there were, um, games afoot. ;)
