Argos Win CFL Grey Cup
CFL Grey Cup Final Score: Toronto 27, British Columbia 19
Damon Allen ran for two touchdowns and tossed for another as the Toronto Argonauts captured the 92nd Grey Cup with a 27-19 win over the British Columbia Lions in front of a sellout crowd of 51,242 at Frank Clair Stadium.
From a previous post about the CFL I know few people are interested, but what the hell.
Arrrrrrr-goooooos!

I'd be more interested if the Montreal Alouettes had stayed in Baltimore (even if that meant the Ravens wouldn't have left Cleveland). CFL football's exciting. I enjoyed watching Stallions games though I think Baltimore was still robbed when it played its first Grey Cup!

Actually the Alouettes were never in Baltimore, although the Baltimore Stallions did become one of the Montreal Alouettes teams. There was an Alouettes team in Montreal from 1946-1981 and again from 1986-1987 (before that they were the Montreal Concordes for three years). Then in 1995 the Stallions moved to Montreal (after two great years in Baltimore) and became the current Alouettes.
I know that is what you ment, but it was an opportunity to add a little CFL trivia. That is great trivia, too, since Baltimore is the only team from the U.S. to win a CFL Grey Cup.

Yeah, I was referring to the fact that the franchise that became the latest edition of the Alouettes was originally the Baltimore Stallions.
Damon Allen, the Argos quarterback and the game MVP, is a grandfather.
Way to go, gramps.
