So, I feel like asking you all, what is your favorite non-alcohol drink and why? I'm not going to do a poll because there are so many different types of drinks out there it isn't funny.

Me, I love A&W Rootbeer.

Nothing beats Faygo Red Pop. Unless it is Jones Soda FuFu Berry. If you want a good alcoholic drink, add vodka to one of those two.

yerba mate (a very strong south american tea), genmai cha (green tea with toasted rice), lemon iced tea (real tea with real lemon, not store-bought stuff), and fresh-squeezed home-made lemonade.

...Water. Though if I'm looking for a caffine fix I usually go for the Dew.

Dr. Pepper is by far the greatest soda ever, and the reason is this: it is good at any temperature. Can you say that about Pepsi, or Coke, or Mountain Dew, or Sprite? I think not.

Water, gotta stay hydrated.

Or of course any of a number of sports drinks to help with the electrolyte levels.

Tea is also good.

You'll find any of these in my bottle cage at one time or another.

Actually, I am very used to warm Coke. I worked in an office where people commonly stole food from the fridge, so took to keeping my 12 packs in my bottom drawer.

I've never had Dr Pepper warm, but I can honestly say that Coke is just as good warm as cold.

My favorite drink though is LA Ice (cola). It's great cold, it's not bad warm, and it's even pretty good cold and flat. If there's one critisism I will level at LA Ice is that if you put the bottle in the freezer before you open it, it often becomes difficult to get the cap off.

I also like a particular non-alcoholic beer you can get down here, although it's absolute rotgut.

I also like the lemon Lipton's Iced Tea. It's much better than the peach. And while we're on the subject of fruit-flavoured drinks, I also like the lemon and cherry Cokes.

Actually, I change my answer. My favorite drink is Pepsi Blue (but they don't make it anymore). Pepsi Blue was REALLY good with sushi too.

America's Best Iced Coffees. 3 flavors that I know of, highly caffinated. Great for staying awake, and tasty. I've been known to basically IV drip three or four 15 oz cans sometimes.

They sell them at Trader Joe's here in CT (small, non-IGA chain), though I've found them in DC and Virginia before.

It's an even split between tap water, Fanta Orange Soda, A&W Root Beer & Cream Soda, and Coca-Cola.

There is a soft drink in Japan called Aquarius. This was in the late eighties so I don't even know if they still make it. Man was that stuff tasty.

When I lived there I drank it all the time. It's like a mild lemon flavored gatorade, really tasty. That was my all time favorite non-alcoholic drink.

Here in the states I drink Ice Tea with lemon, boring but tasty.
