Unfortunately one of the arguements in favor of Bush being the anti-christ is that Prince Charles is the anti-christ. Doesn't really support the hypothesis. A fun site to say the least. I think we have a tendancy to label those with whom we have differences as irredemably evil. When dealing w/ political figures, the most powerful people in the world (barring Bill Gates and CEO's, of course ;) ) we must ascribe to them the most senior position in the heirarchy of evil, that of the Anit-Christ. The one opposed to all we hold sacred and true. Personally, i think we throw that term around to loosly. If you look long enough, you can probably find that nearly every powerful figure who generates controversy has been called the "antichrist." There are many whackjobs out there.

THAT SAID, there is MUCH evidence that GW is the Antichrist. If you read this (plz do, but be warned to read and comprehend you should set aside a LARGE block of time) you may be convinced. It got me.

I think if Bush were the anti-christ, people in nations other than the US would be drawn to him. Also, I think if faced with the true anti-christ, who will be very powerful and persuasive, I might be at least somewhat tempted to follow him. I would resist, I hope, but it seems like there would be some doubt in my heart, at least in the beginning, and I've disliked/distrusted Bush all along.

Protestents, such as Bush and Cheney, do not reverence statuary or crucifixes. Your knowledge of Christianity seems pretty limited.

In truth I actually agree with you. People have been saying it is the apocolypse since 999 AD. There was a documentry on Frontline about how every couple of years people predict that it will be the end of the world. As a Buddhist I don't think that will be until the new Buddha will come which is prohetized as 25,000 years in the future. As a realist and enlightened person I believe this whole hub-bub about the apocolypse is the end of our current civilization and the begining of the second dark ages. Like the end of the Roman Civilization we will be plunged into darkness and backwardness for a good century or two or three until we realize that must work together to form a new society. This has begun as the war between the two great Abrahamic religions Christianity and Islam which will expand into a greater war between the west and the east.(Nuclear and Bio)
