I saw nothing in the article about US pilots using the Havoc. Just an article about it's qualities (and similarities to the apache)

Sikorsky was the Russian immigrant who started the 'Sikorsky' aircraft company now located in Hartford CT. The Russains have always had as good if not better choppers than we do.

Of course the electronics in the Russian stuff is absolute 1970's crap, but the helicopters themselves are very good.

Nice looking beast, but I didn't see that the US was going to fly it (although they usually get hold of a couple when they can to test them, compare to their own, and adapt a few ideas).

yep, we test others stuff to find ways to improve our stuff (that's why we're upping the gun on the Abrams)

Exactly so. the closest it come to saying so is:
Developed by Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant, the Mi-28 is considered a clone of the AH-64 "Apache" helicopter in that it is a new-generation attack helicopter that offers both air-to-air and air-to-ground support.

That's a long way from: " US pilots to use Russian made helicopter".
