Metallica - St Anger, it's a beautifully brutal storming return to form. A pissed off album from a (then) pissed off band. Sadly it (just by chance) was bought at the time of a painful break up, so by a (then) extremely pissed of man. Puts a smile on my face to this day tho. METALLICA RULE!!!!

Of course I meant Tchaikovsky.
My brother gave me a dvd he made with beethovens Symphonies no. 5 & 7 *and* Tchaikovsky's 1812, I just had a moment of confusion due to an early start to the day and a massive hangover!
That and the fact he's written "Beethoven + 1812" on the disc. I am not an afficianado (sp) of classical music, I just know I like listening to the disc he gave me.
